FOA South and Channel Islands Rallies 2026 - Update

Hi All,

As you all know by now,  your Commodore and I are away on Wight Mistress on our Round Britain Cruise.  Currently alongside in Victoria Dock, Caernarfon,  in brilliant hot sunshine.    Sadly we will not be able to join in any of the activities through the summer, but I am doing my best to organise them for you and if any of you would like to help by being the person on the ground please,  I would be delighted. (my number is above.)

South and Channel Islands group

Island Harbour Rally 10th - 12th July

Please will any members who wish to attend this rally let me know so I can give the Marina details. They offer a 10% discount on their prices for rallies.

The restaurant Cockle is open so if you wish me to book a table please let me know.

There is another rally booked on the same weekend and they have booked the BBQ area for the Saturday but it is still available for the Friday, so if you would like to BBQ and I can make sure the area is available.

Almost all the South Coast Marinas are booked every weekend throughout the summer so if you would like me to arrange something during the week please let me know and I will look into it.

Looking ahead I am working on a rally to Ginns Farm in the Beaulieu River in September and there is a rally to Town Quay, Southampton, for the Christmas Market.    Also I am thinking about the Laying up Lunch/Supper at Harpers again.  If anyone has any good ideas for other venues, please let me know soonest.
