Dates & Itinerary: Friday - Sunday 9-11 September 2022
Sailing up the Deben you travel in the wake of ancient warriors and traders. And behind the trees to the north of the Deben is the ship grave of Anglo-Saxon king Raedwald. Of course you knew that, especially if you have seen the film The Dig about the excavation of Sutton Hoo in 1939.
If there are sufficient numbers we plan a taxi/minibus trip to Sutton Hoo which is close by the marina (about 10 minutes if my memory serves). Cost tba.
Otherwise there is pretty little Woodbridge to explore and the usual social round.
